I'm getting an error

I’m getting Service Unavailable

Yes, the service is unavailable.  Chances are we are doing an upgrade, pushing out updates – when you receive “Service Unavailable” the services are restarting.

Wait a few minutes then CNTRL+F5 to refresh the page.

Normally this is short lived as we have multiple services for the website.

If it continues for more than a few hours – You can always join the discord server for more real time information or let one of the admins know.

Clicking Create PDF does nothing

When you are generating a PDF you may receive the error: “Internal Server error” or click the Create PDF button and nothing happens.

Force a new copy of the website to your browser by hitting CNTL+F5

Press F11 to open the debug console.

Click the Create PDF button you will see an error similar to this:

There are several things that can cause this issue. 

Images are bad

Try removing your images and creating the PDF again.

Missing information in your Character. 

Try loading your orcbrew file under My Content -> Content List -> Import Option Source.

If this doesn’t fix it then last resort is rebuild the character.

Take screen shots of the Character’s items magic etc… and then delete it then rebuild it.

Turn off your Ad Blocker

Most of the time if you getting a black screen it’s because you have Adblockers turned on.

If you hit F12 and check the Browser Console and see this:

It’s adblockers.

* Turn off your adblockers, CNTRL+F5 refresh
* Open in an incognito mode with no homebrew loaded, CNTRL+F5 refresh
* Only load the homebrew needed for your current character, CNTRL+F5 refresh

Getting the Spinning wheel

I got the spinning pinwheel, which spun for an eternity, and when I refreshed it took forever to load, before taking me to a blank white page that simply says, “Service Unavailable,” or, when I refresh again, sometimes just yielding a 524 error, saver the host server is down.
